Teoscar Hernández is a Dominican professional baseball outfielder currently playing for the Los Angeles Dodgers in Major League Baseball (MLB). Born on October 15, 1992, in Cotuí, Dominican Republic, he made his MLB debut with the Houston Astros on August 12, 2016.
Throughout his career, Hernández has also played for the Toronto Blue Jays and the Seattle Mariners. In 2024, he earned his first All-Star selection and won the Home Run Derby while playing for the Dodgers. He also secured a Silver Slugger Award that year. Hernández was instrumental in the Dodgers’ World Series victory, hitting .350 during the postseason.
In January 2025, Hernández re-signed with the Dodgers on a three-year, $66 million contract. He has continued his strong performance into the 2025 season, hitting a two-run homer against the Atlanta Braves on March 31, 2025, contributing to the Dodgers’ 6-1 victory.
