The TCU Horned Frogs women’s basketball team has achieved remarkable success in the 2024–25 season. Under the leadership of second-year head coach Mark Campbell, the team secured both the Big 12 regular-season and tournament championships. They clinched the tournament title by defeating Baylor 64-59 in the championship game, marking their first Big 12 Tournament Championship and earning an automatic bid to the NCAA Tournament.
In the NCAA Tournament, TCU is poised to receive a top-four seed, reflecting their impressive performance throughout the season.
The team’s success is attributed to standout players like Hailey Van Lith, who was named the Most Outstanding Player in the Big 12 Tournament, and Sedona Prince, who earned All-Tournament Team honors. Van Lith led the team with 20 points in the championship game, while Prince contributed a double-double with 12 points and 14 rebounds.
TCU’s remarkable turnaround from the previous season, where they finished with a 21–12 record, highlights their resilience and determination.
