Bogdan Bogdanović (born August 18, 1992, in Belgrade, Serbia) is a Serbian professional basketball player who plays as a shooting guard for the Los Angeles Clippers in the NBA. He has also been a key player for the Serbian national team.
Early Career
Bogdanović began his professional career with Partizan Belgrade, where he gained recognition for his impressive performances in the EuroLeague. In the 2013-2014 season, he averaged 14.8 points, 3.7 rebounds, and 3.7 assists per game, earning the EuroLeague’s Rising Star Trophy and leading Partizan to a domestic league title.
Transition to the NBA
In the 2014 NBA Draft, Bogdanović was selected 27th overall by the Phoenix Suns but was traded to the Sacramento Kings. He debuted in the NBA in October 2017, playing for the Kings until 2020. In November 2020, he signed a four-year, $72 million contract with the Atlanta Hawks. After four seasons with Atlanta, he was traded to the Los Angeles Clippers on February 6, 2025, in exchange for Terance Mann and Bones Hyland.
