Justin Reid is an American football safety, born on February 15, 1997, in Prairieville, Louisiana. He played college football at Stanford University before being drafted by the Houston Texans in the third round of the 2018 NFL Draft.
After four seasons with the Texans, Reid signed a three-year, $31.5 million contract with the Kansas City Chiefs in 2022. During his tenure with the Chiefs, he contributed to the team’s success, including two Super Bowl victories.
As of March 11, 2025, Reid has signed a three-year, $31.5 million contract with the New Orleans Saints, which includes $22.5 million guaranteed. This move brings him back to his home state of Louisiana, where he is expected to bolster the Saints’ secondary following the departure of safety Will Harris to the Washington Commanders.
In the 2024 season, Reid recorded 87 combined tackles (61 solo), nine pass deflections, and two interceptions, showcasing his consistent performance on the field.
Off the field, Reid and his girlfriend, Marissa Rand, welcomed their first child, a daughter, on January 22, 2025, adding a personal milestone to his eventful year.
