Vanna White, born on February 18, 1957, in North Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, is a renowned American television personality best known for co-hosting the game show “Wheel of Fortune” since 1982. Before her television career, she competed in the Miss Georgia USA pageant in 1978 and worked as a model while studying fashion.
In addition to her role on “Wheel of Fortune,” White has made appearances in various films and television series, including “Naked Gun 33⅓: The Final Insult” and “Full House.” She also authored an autobiography titled “Vanna Speaks!” in 1987.
In recent years, White has continued to make headlines. At the age of 68, she got her first tattoo—a pink heart on her wrist—inked by her daughter, Gigi Santo Pietro. She expressed that the tattoo serves as a lasting reminder of their special bond.
Following Pat Sajak’s retirement in 2023, White extended her contract with “Wheel of Fortune” and received a pay raise. She now co-hosts the show with Ryan Seacrest, continuing her longstanding association with the program.
Despite her extensive career, White maintains a relatively light filming schedule, working approximately 34 days a year by filming six episodes a day. This arrangement allows her to enjoy around 331 days off annually.
