Ahmad “Sauce” Gardner, born on August 31, 2000, in Detroit, Michigan, is a professional American football cornerback for the New York Jets in the NFL. He played college football at the University of Cincinnati, where he earned recognition for his exceptional defensive skills. In the 2022 NFL Draft, Gardner was selected fourth overall by the Jets.
He quickly made an impact, earning the NFL Defensive Rookie of the Year award and securing a spot on the All-Pro First Team in his debut season. Gardner has continued to excel, being named to the Pro Bowl and All-Pro teams in both 2022 and 2023.
