Berlanga de Duero is a municipality in the province of Soria, Spain. The town is notable for its historic architecture, including the Colegiata de Santa María del Mercado, where a preserved caimán (a type of alligator) hangs from the facade.

This caimán was brought from Panama by Fray Tomás de Berlanga, the bishop who discovered the Galápagos Islands, and has become a distinctive feature of the town.
