The San Diego State University (SDSU) men’s basketball team concluded their season with a 95-68 loss to the University of North Carolina (UNC) in the First Four of the NCAA Tournament on March 18, 2025.
This defeat ended the Aztecs’ season with a 21-10 record.
In the game, UNC’s offense was dominant, shooting 61% in the first half and establishing a substantial lead. SDSU struggled offensively, shooting only 27% in the first half.
UNC’s RJ Davis led all scorers with 26 points.
Despite the loss, SDSU’s participation in the NCAA Tournament marked a significant achievement, as they were among the Last Four In and faced a formidable opponent in UNC.
