With just 3.4 seconds remaining and the game tied, Alabama State’s Micah Simpson launched a full-court inbound pass that was tipped but ultimately secured by Amarr Knox. Knox converted the layup with one second left, sealing the win for the Hornets.
Knox led Alabama State with 16 points, while Saint Francis’ Juan Cranford Jr. scored a game-high 18 points.
