As of March 19, 2025, the Oklahoma State Cowboys men’s basketball team is competing in the National Invitation Tournament (NIT). In their opening game on March 18, they secured a 89-79 victory over the Wichita State Shockers. Bryce Thompson led the team with 23 points in this matchup.
Earlier this month, the Cowboys participated in the Big 12 Tournament. On March 11, they faced the Cincinnati Bearcats but fell 87-68 in the opening round.
The Cowboys are currently under the leadership of head coach Steve Lutz, who began his tenure in April 2024.
