Aaron Gordon is an American professional basketball player who plays as a forward for the Denver Nuggets in the NBA. Born on September 16, 1995, in San Jose, California, Gordon gained prominence during his time at Archbishop Mitty High School, leading the team to two state championships and earning the title of California Mr. Basketball in his junior and senior years.

He further showcased his talent during his freshman year at the University of Arizona, where he was named the Pac-12 Freshman of the Year in 2014.

In the 2014 NBA Draft, Gordon was selected by the Orlando Magic as the fourth overall pick. He played six and a half seasons with Orlando before being traded to the Denver Nuggets in March 2021. Gordon’s tenure with the Nuggets has been marked by significant achievements, including winning the NBA championship in 2023. He contributed notably during the playoffs, particularly in the Western Conference Semifinals and Finals.
