”The Accountant 2″ is the upcoming sequel to the 2016 action-thriller “The Accountant,” with Ben Affleck reprising his role as Christian Wolff, an autistic mathematics savant who works for criminal organizations. The film also stars Jon Bernthal as Braxton Wolff and Cynthia Addai-Robinson as U.S. Treasury Deputy Director Marybeth Medina. Directed by Gavin O’Connor, the movie is scheduled for theatrical release on April 25, 2025.
The plot follows Christian and his estranged brother Braxton as they join forces to investigate the murder of Treasury Department financial crimes bureau director Ray King, portrayed by J.K. Simmons. Their investigation uncovers a deadly conspiracy, placing them in grave danger.
