Adam DeVine is an American comedian, actor, writer, and producer, born on November 7, 1983, in Waterloo, Iowa. He is best known for co-creating and starring in the Comedy Central series Workaholics and Adam DeVine’s House Party. DeVine also portrayed Bumper Allen in the Pitch Perfect films and the television series Pitch Perfect: Bumper in Berlin. Since 2019, he has played Kelvin Gemstone in the HBO series The Righteous Gemstones.
In February 2024, DeVine and his wife, actress Chloe Bridges, welcomed their first child, a son named Beau. DeVine has openly discussed the lasting effects of a childhood accident in which he was struck by a cement truck at age 11, resulting in multiple surgeries and ongoing health challenges. He revealed that doctors once told him he was dying due to complications from the accident.
In a recent interview, DeVine shared an experience involving actor Zac Efron, who had contacted him about staying at his house but subsequently “ghosted” him, leading to a lack of further communication.
