Adam Hadwin is a Canadian professional golfer who plays on the PGA Tour. Born on November 2, 1987, in Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan, he grew up in Abbotsford, British Columbia. Hadwin turned professional in 2009 after attending the University of Louisville on a golf scholarship.
Throughout his career, Hadwin has achieved several notable accomplishments, including one PGA Tour victory at the 2017 Valspar Championship. He has also secured multiple wins on the Web.com Tour and the Canadian Tour.
In a memorable moment during the 2025 Valspar Championship, Hadwin, frustrated after a poor shot, slammed his club into the ground, inadvertently striking a buried sprinkler head. This caused the sprinkler to activate, resulting in water spraying across the course as Hadwin attempted, unsuccessfully, to stop it.
Off the course, Hadwin is married to Jessica Hadwin, a nurse practitioner from Wichita. The couple met on Tinder in 2014 and married in March 2017, the same month Adam won his first PGA Tour event. They have a daughter, Maddox, born in January 2020. In 2020, they established The Hadwin Family Foundation to support families facing infertility and pregnancy loss.
