Andrew Wiggins is a professional basketball player currently playing as a small forward for the Miami Heat in the NBA. Born on February 23, 1995, in Toronto, Ontario, he stands 6 feet 7 inches tall and weighs 197 pounds. Wiggins played one season of college basketball at Kansas before declaring for the NBA draft, where he was selected first overall by the Cleveland Cavaliers in 2014.

He was subsequently traded to the Minnesota Timberwolves, where he played from 2014 to 2020. In February 2020, he was traded to the Golden State Warriors, with whom he won an NBA championship in 2022. In February 2025, Wiggins was traded to the Miami Heat.

In a recent game on March 21, 2025, Wiggins scored 30 points in a 102-98 loss to the Houston Rockets. He made 10 of 13 field goals, including 2 of 4 from three-point range, and added two rebounds and three assists in 30 minutes of play.

Notably, during the first quarter of this game, Wiggins scored 20 points, becoming only the third player in Miami Heat history to achieve a 20-point quarter with a 100% field goal percentage, joining LeBron James and Chris Bosh.
