Anson Frericks is an American business executive known for his leadership roles in major corporations and his recent commentary on corporate policies. Born in 1984 in Cincinnati, Ohio, he graduated from Yale University in 2006 with a double major in history and political science and served as captain of the varsity lacrosse team. He earned his MBA from Harvard Business School in 2011.

From 2011 to 2022, Frericks held various positions at Anheuser-Busch InBev, culminating as president of Anheuser-Busch Sales & Distribution Co. In 2022, he co-founded Strive Asset Management with Vivek Ramaswamy, focusing on maximizing long-term value for investors. Strive has rapidly grown, managing over $1 billion in assets.

Frericks has been vocal about corporate diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) initiatives. In a 2025 New York Times op-ed, he argued that Anheuser-Busch’s focus on DEI, exemplified by its partnership with Dylan Mulvaney, contributed to the brand’s decline.

He expanded on this perspective in his February 2025 book, “Last Call for Bud Light: The Fall and Future of America’s Favorite Beer,” analyzing the factors behind Bud Light’s loss of market leadership.

Beyond his business ventures, Frericks founded Athletic Capital, a consumer-focused private equity firm. He is also an active speaker, discussing topics like corporate strategy, leadership, and the impact of political engagement on business.
