Anthony Black is an American professional basketball player who plays as a guard for the Orlando Magic in the NBA. Born on January 20, 2004, in Duncanville, Texas, he stands 6 feet 7 inches tall and weighs 200 pounds.
In college, Black played for the Arkansas Razorbacks during the 2022–2023 season. He averaged 12.8 points, 5.1 rebounds, 3.9 assists, and 2.1 steals per game. His performance earned him a spot on the Southeastern Conference All-Freshman Team. Following his freshman year, he declared for the 2023 NBA Draft.
The Orlando Magic selected Black as the sixth overall pick in the 2023 NBA Draft. In his rookie season, he played in 69 games, starting 33, and averaged 4.6 points, 2.0 rebounds, 1.3 assists, and 0.5 steals per game. He shot 46.6% from the field, 39.4% from three-point range, and 61.3% from the free-throw line.
On March 24, 2025, Black led the Magic to a 118-106 victory over the Los Angeles Lakers, contributing 17 points and 6 assists.
