Arthur Fils is a French professional tennis player born on June 12, 2004, in Courcouronnes, France. As of March 17, 2025, he achieved his career-high ATP singles ranking of world No. 18. ​

Fils began playing tennis at age five and trained at the French National Training Center near Roland Garros. He turned professional in 2021 and quickly made his mark on the ATP Tour. In 2023, he secured his first ATP title at the Lyon Open, becoming the youngest champion in the tournament’s history.

He also reached the semifinals at the Hamburg European Open and advanced to the final at the European Open in Antwerp. His impressive performances earned him the ATP Newcomer of the Year award. ​

In 2024, Fils continued his ascent by winning two ATP 500 titles.
