The Ball State Cardinals women’s basketball team has achieved significant success during the 2024–2025 season. On March 15, 2025, they clinched the Mid-American Conference (MAC) Tournament Championship by defeating the Toledo Rockets 65-58 at Rocket Arena in Cleveland, Ohio.
This victory secured their first NCAA Tournament appearance since 2009.
Throughout the season, the Cardinals demonstrated consistent excellence, finishing with a 27-7 overall record and a 16-2 mark in MAC play, which earned them the regular-season conference title.
Their impressive performance was recognized with several individual accolades:
- Ally Becki was named MAC Player of the Year.
- Madelyn Bischoff earned a spot on the All-MAC Second Team.
- Brady Sallee, in his 13th year as head coach, was honored as MAC Coach of the Year.
