Bam Adebayo, born on July 18, 1997, in Newark, New Jersey, is an American professional basketball player who plays as a center for the Miami Heat in the NBA. He played one season of college basketball at the University of Kentucky before being selected by the Heat as the 14th overall pick in the 2017 NBA Draft.
Since joining the NBA, Adebayo has established himself as a versatile and impactful player. He has earned three NBA All-Star selections (2020, 2023, 2024) and has been named to the NBA All-Defensive Team multiple times, including a First Team honor in 2024.
