Bella Ramsey is a British actor born in September 2003 in Nottingham, England. They gained prominence for their role as Lyanna Mormont in HBO’s “Game of Thrones” (2016–2019), portraying a fierce young leader. They also starred as Mildred Hubble in “The Worst Witch” (2017) and voiced the titular character in Netflix’s animated series “Hilda” (2018–2023).
Their most notable role to date is Ellie in HBO’s “The Last of Us” series (2023–present), which earned them nominations for both a Primetime Emmy Award and a Golden Globe Award.
In a recent interview with British Vogue for their April 2025 cover, Ramsey revealed they were diagnosed with autism during the filming of “The Last of Us.” They described the diagnosis as “freeing,” helping them understand themselves better and enhancing their acting skills.
