Ben Affleck, born on August 15, 1972, in Berkeley, California, is an American actor, director, producer, and screenwriter. He began his career as a child actor in the PBS educational series “The Voyage of the Mimi” (1984–1988).
He gained prominence with his role in “Dazed and Confused” (1993) and co-wrote and starred in “Good Will Hunting” (1997), earning the Academy Award for Best Original Screenplay alongside Matt Damon.
