Bill Chisholm is an American businessman and sports team owner, best known as the managing partner and chief investment officer of Symphony Technology Group (STG), a private equity firm he co-founded in 2002. In March 2025, Chisholm led a group that agreed to purchase the Boston Celtics for a record $6.1 billion, surpassing previous records for North American sports franchise sales.
Born and raised in Georgetown, Massachusetts, Chisholm is a lifelong fan of the Celtics.
