In the Mountain West Conference Tournament, Boise State advanced to the championship game but fell to the Colorado State Rams 69-56 on March 15, 2025.
This victory secured Colorado State’s first Mountain West title since 2003.
Tyson Degenhart led Boise State throughout the season, averaging 17.8 points per game with a field goal percentage of 51.6%.
In the tournament semifinal, Degenhart scored 22 points, contributing significantly to the team’s 72-69 victory over New Mexico.
Despite their strong performance, Boise State’s loss in the championship game has left their NCAA Tournament prospects uncertain, as automatic bids are typically awarded to conference tournament champions.
