Bowen Born is a 5’11” guard currently playing for the Colorado State Rams men’s basketball team. Born in Norwalk, Iowa, he attended Norwalk High School, where he led the Warriors to three state tournaments. He earned Second Team All-State honors as a sophomore and First Team honors in his junior and senior years, culminating in a state championship in his senior season.
He began his college career at Northern Iowa, where he played in 118 games with 89 starts over four seasons. Born averaged 12.6 points per game, earning accolades such as the Missouri Valley Conference Freshman of the Year in 2020-21 and Sixth Man of the Year in 2021-22. He also received Second Team All-MVC honors in 2022-23.
In May 2024, Bowen transferred to Colorado State University. In the 2024-25 season, he played in 26 games, starting in all of them, and averaged 4.9 points, 1.3 rebounds, and 1.5 assists per game. He shot 37.4% from the field and 91.3% from the free-throw line.
