Brad Stevens is an American basketball executive and former coach, currently serving as the President of Basketball Operations for the Boston Celtics. Born on October 22, 1976, in Zionsville, Indiana, Stevens has had a significant impact on both collegiate and professional basketball. ​

Early Life and Education

Raised in Zionsville, Stevens was a standout basketball player at Zionsville Community High School, setting four school records. He went on to play at DePauw University, earning multiple all-conference honors and three-time Academic All-America nominations.

Coaching Career

Stevens began his coaching career as a volunteer assistant at Butler University before becoming the head coach in 2007. He led Butler to two consecutive NCAA national championship games in 2010 and 2011, establishing himself as a rising star in the coaching world. In 2013, he transitioned to the NBA, becoming the head coach of the Boston Celtics.
