Brandin Echols is an American football cornerback who, as of March 2025, plays for the Pittsburgh Steelers in the NFL. Born on October 16, 1997, in Memphis, Tennessee, he stands 5 feet 10 inches tall and weighs 179 pounds. Echols began his college football career at Northwest Mississippi Community College before transferring to the University of Kentucky, where he played for the Wildcats.
In the 2021 NFL Draft, Echols was selected by the New York Jets in the sixth round (200th overall). Over his four seasons with the Jets, he appeared in 57 games, starting 19, and accumulated 122 tackles, five interceptions (two returned for touchdowns), and 16 passes defensed.
