Brandon Drury is an American professional baseball utility player known for his versatility in the infield and outfield. Born on August 21, 1992, in Grants Pass, Oregon, he was drafted by the Atlanta Braves in the 13th round of the 2010 MLB June Amateur Draft from Grants Pass High School. Drury made his MLB debut with the Braves on September 1, 2015.

Over his career, Drury has played for several MLB teams, including the Atlanta Braves, Arizona Diamondbacks, New York Yankees, Toronto Blue Jays, Cincinnati Reds, San Diego Padres, and Los Angeles Angels. Notably, he earned a Silver Slugger award in 2022 while playing for the Padres, hitting 28 home runs that season.

In February 2025, Drury signed a minor league contract with the Chicago White Sox, receiving an invitation to major league spring training. He impressed during spring training, posting a .364/.400/.718 slash line with three home runs. On March 15, 2025, he hit two home runs and drove in five RBIs in a game against the Cincinnati Reds.

However, Drury’s spring training was cut short when he fractured his left thumb, leading to his release from the White Sox on March 23, 2025. The team claimed right-handed pitcher Mike Vasil off waivers from the Tampa Bay Rays, resulting in Drury’s departure.

As of March 25, 2025, Drury is a free agent, and his future in professional baseball remains uncertain.
