Bryce James, born on June 14, 2007, in Cleveland, Ohio, is the second son of NBA legend LeBron James and his wife, Savannah. He has an older brother, Bronny James, who plays for the Los Angeles Lakers. Standing 6 feet 6 inches tall and playing as a shooting guard, Bryce has demonstrated significant basketball talent from a young age.
Throughout his high school career, Bryce attended Sierra Canyon School in Chatsworth, California, where he played alongside his brother Bronny. In May 2023, he transferred to Campbell Hall School in North Hollywood but later moved to Notre Dame High School in Sherman Oaks in August 2023. By November 2023, Bryce returned to Sierra Canyon.
In his senior year, Bryce averaged 8.0 points and 4.2 rebounds per game. He achieved a career-high 18 points in a game against Grayson High School.
His performance contributed to Sierra Canyon’s victory over Lincoln High School in the California Division I state championship game, marking the school’s first state title since 2019.
LeBron James was present at the game to support his son.
On January 1, 2025, Bryce committed to playing college basketball for the University of Arizona, joining the Wildcats as part of the Class of 2025.
He had previously considered offers from Ohio State and Duquesne University.
