Carlos Ulberg, born on March 15, 1991, in New Zealand, is a professional mixed martial artist competing in the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) light-heavyweight division. Before transitioning to MMA, Ulberg worked as a male stripper, performing at ladies’ nights across Australia and New Zealand.
This led to him being dubbed “Ladies Night” by a regional announcer. He eventually shifted his focus to combat sports, earning a UFC contract after a first-round knockout at Dana White’s Contender Series in November 2020.
Ulberg’s UFC career began with a loss to Kennedy Nzechukwu in March 2021. However, he rebounded with a seven-fight winning streak, showcasing his striking prowess with multiple knockouts. In March 2025, Ulberg faced former UFC Light Heavyweight Champion Jan Błachowicz at UFC Fight Night 255 in London, securing a unanimous decision victory.
Following his win, Ulberg called for a title shot, expressing his readiness to compete for the championship later in 2025.
