Chidobe Awuzie is an American football cornerback currently playing for the Tennessee Titans in the NFL. Born on May 24, 1995, in San Jose, California, he stands 6 feet tall and weighs 202 pounds. He played college football at the University of Colorado and was drafted by the Dallas Cowboys in the second round of the 2017 NFL Draft.

Throughout his career, Awuzie has also played for the Cincinnati Bengals. In 2021, he signed a three-year contract with the Bengals, starting as a cornerback alongside Trae Waynes. He recorded two interceptions and 53 combined tackles that season. However, in 2022, he suffered a torn ACL, limiting him to eight games. He returned in 2023 but faced further challenges with a back injury, leading to reduced playtime.

In March 2024, Awuzie signed a three-year contract with the Tennessee Titans. He started the 2024 season as a cornerback but suffered a groin injury in Week 3, placing him on injured reserve. He returned in December 2024, recording one interception and three tackles in his comeback game.

On March 15, 2025, the Titans released Awuzie after one season. This move has sparked discussions about potential reunions with his former teams. The Cincinnati Bengals, in particular, are considering bringing him back, given his contributions during their 2021 Super Bowl run. Awuzie could provide valuable veteran experience to the Bengals’ defensive backfield, especially with Mike Hilton’s status still uncertain.
