Chloe Kitts (born August 5, 2004) is an American college basketball player for the South Carolina Gamecocks in the Southeastern Conference (SEC).
Recently, during a postgame press conference after South Carolina’s quarterfinal win against Vanderbilt in the SEC Tournament, Kitts humorously revealed one of the team’s play calls. She mentioned that the call “14” was designed to get the ball to her, leading to a light-hearted moment with Coach Dawn Staley, who playfully responded, “Thanks. You just told them our play.”
Despite this inadvertent disclosure, South Carolina continued their dominant performance, defeating Oklahoma 93-75 in the semifinals to advance to their sixth consecutive SEC Tournament title game. Kitts contributed significantly in this game, scoring 10 points, grabbing four rebounds, and providing four assists in just 17 minutes of play.
Throughout the season, Kitts has been a vital asset to the Gamecocks, averaging 10 points, 7.8 rebounds, and two assists per game. Her consistent performances have been instrumental in South Carolina’s success, solidifying their status as strong contenders for the national championship.
