Clifford Omoruyi is a Nigerian-born college basketball player who currently plays as a center for the Alabama Crimson Tide. Born on October 11, 2001, in Benin City, Nigeria, he moved to the United States at age 14 to pursue basketball. Omoruyi attended multiple high schools, including Queen of Peace High School, Immaculate Conception High School, and Roselle Catholic High School in New Jersey.
At Roselle Catholic, he averaged 14.2 points, 11.5 rebounds, and 5.4 blocks per game as a senior, earning honors such as the Gatorade New Jersey Player of the Year.
He began his college career at Rutgers University, where he played from 2020 to 2024. Over his four-year tenure with the Scarlet Knights, Omoruyi averaged 10.3 points, 7.7 rebounds, and 1.8 blocks per game.
