Sport Club Corinthians Paulista, commonly known as Corinthians, is a professional football club based in São Paulo, Brazil. Founded on September 1, 1910, the club has a rich history and is one of Brazil’s most successful and popular football teams.

In the 2025 Campeonato Paulista, Corinthians achieved a 2-1 victory over Santos in the semifinals, advancing to the final of the tournament.
International Competitions
In the Copa Libertadores, Corinthians faced Barcelona SC in a two-legged tie. Despite a valiant effort, they were eliminated after a 3-0 aggregate loss. In the second leg, played in São Paulo, Corinthians won 1-0 with a goal from Félix Torres but couldn’t overcome the deficit from the first leg.

Corinthians boast a massive fan base, with supporters known as “Fiel Torcida” (Loyal Fans). The club has a significant cultural impact in Brazil, having been associated with social and political movements, notably the “Democracia Corinthiana” (Corinthian Democracy) in the early 1980s, which promoted player-led decision-making during Brazil’s military dictatorship.
