Courtney Cronin is an American sports journalist currently serving as an NFL reporter for ESPN, covering the Chicago Bears. She joined ESPN in 2017 as a Minnesota Vikings reporter and transitioned to her current role in 2022 following the passing of Jeff Dickerson.

A native of Glenview, Illinois, Cronin graduated from Indiana University Bloomington in 2012 with degrees in journalism and Spanish. She began her career at The Clarion-Ledger in Jackson, Mississippi, covering SEC and high school sports, before moving to the San Jose Mercury News in 2016 to report on teams like the Warriors, Raiders, and 49ers.

Beyond her reporting duties, Cronin contributes as a panelist on ESPN’s “Around the Horn” and makes appearances on “First Take” and “SportsCenter.” She also hosts “Unsportsmanlike Radio” on ESPN Radio and ESPN Chicago.

In March 2025, Cronin gained attention for her perfect bracket in the NCAA Tournament Challenge, with only 0.1% of submitted brackets remaining perfect at that time.

In August 2024, Cronin filled in for Tony Reali as the host of “Around the Horn,” receiving positive feedback for her performance and on-air presence.
