Creighton University is a private Jesuit, Catholic university located in Omaha, Nebraska, USA. Established on September 2, 1878, it was founded by the Society of Jesus and is named after Mary Lucretia Creighton, who donated funds in memory of her husband, Edward Creighton.

The university’s 132-acre campus is situated just outside downtown Omaha. As of 2022, Creighton enrolls approximately 8,397 students, comprising 4,290 undergraduates and 4,107 graduate and professional students.
