dallas goedert

Dallas Goedert is an American football tight end who plays for the Philadelphia Eagles in the NFL. Born on January 3, 1995, in Aberdeen, South Dakota, he attended Britton-Hecla High School, where he was active in football, soccer, and basketball. He played college football at South Dakota State University from 2013 to 2017, earning two First-Team FCS All-American honors and three First-Team All-MVFC selections.

The Eagles drafted Goedert in the second round of the 2018 NFL Draft. He has since become a key player for the team, contributing significantly to their offense. In Super Bowl LIX, held on February 9, 2025, Goedert recorded two receptions for 27 yards, helping the Eagles secure a 40–22 victory over the Kansas City Chiefs.

As of March 2025, Goedert is entering the final year of his contract with no guaranteed money remaining. There is speculation that the Eagles may consider trading him due to his age, injury history, and potential high market value. However, replacing him would be challenging, given his integral role in the team’s success.
