davante adams

Davante Adams, born on December 24, 1992, in East Palo Alto, California, is a prominent American football wide receiver known for his exceptional route-running and reliable hands.

He played college football at Fresno State before being selected by the Green Bay Packers in the second round of the 2014 NFL Draft. Over eight seasons with the Packers, Adams established himself as one of the league’s premier receivers, earning multiple Pro Bowl and All-Pro honors.

In March 2022, Adams was traded to the Las Vegas Raiders, where he continued his high-level performance. Midway through the 2024 season, he was traded to the New York Jets, reuniting with quarterback Aaron Rodgers. During his time with the Jets, Adams recorded 85 receptions for 1,063 yards and eight touchdowns.

Following the 2024 season, the Jets released Adams as part of a roster overhaul, clearing nearly $30 million in salary cap space.

Shortly thereafter, Adams signed a two-year, $46 million contract with the Los Angeles Rams, including $26 million guaranteed.

This acquisition is expected to bolster the Rams’ offense, especially with the anticipated departure of wide receiver Cooper Kupp.

Adams joins a Rams team led by quarterback Matthew Stafford, aiming to enhance their offensive capabilities and contend in the NFC playoff race.
