DeMarcus Lawrence is a professional American football defensive end currently playing for the Seattle Seahawks in the NFL. Born on April 28, 1992, in Aiken, South Carolina, he began his college career at Butler Community College before transferring to Boise State University, where he earned First-team All-Mountain West honors in 2012 and 2013.
The Dallas Cowboys selected Lawrence in the second round of the 2014 NFL Draft with the 34th overall pick. Over his 11-year tenure with the Cowboys, he achieved four Pro Bowl selections (2017, 2018, 2022, 2023) and accumulated 61.5 sacks and 450 tackles.
In March 2025, Lawrence signed a three-year, $42 million contract with the Seattle Seahawks, including $18 million guaranteed, bringing veteran experience to their defensive line.
