Devin Williams, born on September 21, 1994, in St. Louis, Missouri, is a professional baseball pitcher currently playing for the New York Yankees. He began his MLB career with the Milwaukee Brewers, debuting in 2019. Williams gained prominence for his exceptional changeup, nicknamed the “Airbender” due to its unique movement.
In 2020, Williams earned the National League (NL) Rookie of the Year and Reliever of the Year awards, finishing the season with a remarkable 0.33 ERA. He was also named an MLB All-Star in 2022 and 2023.
