Grigor Dimitrov, born on May 16, 1991, in Haskovo, Bulgaria, is a professional tennis player who has achieved significant success on the ATP Tour. He has been ranked as high as world No. 3 in singles, making him the highest-ranked Bulgarian in tennis history. Throughout his career, Dimitrov has secured nine ATP Tour singles titles, including the prestigious ATP Finals in 2017.
In 2024, Dimitrov reached the quarterfinals at both the Australian Open and the French Open, completing a career set of quarterfinal appearances at all four Grand Slam tournaments. At the Miami Open, he saved a match point in a thrilling quarterfinal against Francisco Cerundolo, eventually advancing to the semifinals.
