D.J. Wagner is an American college basketball player who currently plays as a guard for the Arkansas Razorbacks in the Southeastern Conference (SEC). Born on May 4, 2005, in Camden, New Jersey, he is the son of former professional basketball player Dajuan Wagner and the grandson of Milt Wagner, also a former professional player.
Wagner began his collegiate career with the Kentucky Wildcats, earning All-Southeastern Conference Freshman Team honors and being named SEC Freshman of the Week three times during his freshman year. He averaged 9.9 points, 3.3 assists, and 1.9 rebounds per game, starting 28 of 29 appearances.
In the 2024-2025 season, Wagner transferred to the University of Arkansas. He has continued to make significant contributions, averaging 11.1 points, 2.7 rebounds, and 3.5 assists per game. His performance has been instrumental in Arkansas’s advancement in the NCAA Tournament, including a notable victory over Kansas.
