His sister, Angela Evans, confirmed his death in a heartfelt Facebook post, expressing the family’s profound grief and seeking prayers during this difficult time.
Kiker gained national attention during his 2020 audition on “American Idol” with a moving performance of Rascal Flatts’ “Bless the Broken Road,” which brought judge Katy Perry to tears. Despite limited formal singing experience, he advanced to Hollywood week and later returned for a virtual encore during the season finale.
