Dre’Mont Jones is an American professional football defensive end born on January 5, 1997, in Cleveland, Ohio. He stands 6 feet 3 inches tall and weighs 281 pounds. Jones began his football journey at Saint Ignatius High School in Cleveland, earning first-team Division-I All-Ohio honors and being named a U.S. Army All-American in his senior year. He was a four-star recruit and committed to Ohio State University in June 2014.

At Ohio State, Jones redshirted his freshman year in 2015. In his redshirt freshman season in 2016, he started 10 games, recording 52 tackles, including 4 tackles for loss, and earned Freshman All-American honors. He continued to excel, earning third-team All-Big Ten honors in 2017 and first-team All-Big Ten honors in 2018, his junior year, where he amassed 43 tackles and 8.5 sacks.

Jones declared for the 2019 NFL Draft and was selected by the Denver Broncos in the third round (71st overall). He made an immediate impact, recording his first career sack against the Minnesota Vikings in his rookie season. In Week 13 of his rookie year, he intercepted Philip Rivers of the Los Angeles Chargers, marking his first NFL interception. Jones earned AFC Defensive Player of the Week honors in Week 16 after recording 2.5 sacks against the Detroit Lions.

After four seasons with the Broncos, Jones signed a three-year, $51.53 million contract with the Seattle Seahawks in March 2023. However, his tenure with Seattle was short-lived; he was released in March 2025 after recording 4 sacks in the 2024 season.

On March 12, 2025, Jones agreed to a one-year, $10 million contract with the Tennessee Titans, aiming to bolster their pass rush.
