Jon Scheyer is the current head coach of the Duke Blue Devils men’s basketball team. He took over the position in 2022, succeeding the legendary Mike Krzyzewski, who led the team from 1980 to 2022.
In his third season, Coach Scheyer has continued Duke’s tradition of excellence. The team secured a spot in the Elite Eight of the NCAA Tournament for the second consecutive year, reflecting his effective leadership. Notably, Scheyer’s coaching record stands at 88-21, and his team, a No. 1 seed, is set to face No. 2 seed Alabama for a spot in the Final Four.
Before his coaching career, Scheyer was a standout player for Duke, contributing to the team’s success as a player, assistant coach, and now as head coach, exemplifying his deep connection to the program.
