Kara Lawson is the head coach of the Duke Blue Devils women’s basketball team. A former WNBA player and basketball analyst, Lawson has been leading the team since 2020.

The following season, 2024–25, the team improved to a 23–7 record, reflecting continued growth and competitiveness.

Recently, Duke clinched its first ACC Tournament championship since 2013, with a 76-62 victory over NC State. This triumph not only avenged their regular-season losses but also underscored the team’s resilience and strategic prowess under Lawson’s leadership.
