FromSoftware, the acclaimed developer behind titles like Elden Ring and Dark Souls, has announced a new game titled The Duskbloods, exclusively for the upcoming Nintendo Switch 2. Scheduled for release in 2026, The Duskbloods is an online multiplayer action game that supports up to eight players. The game features a dark, gothic aesthetic with elements reminiscent of Bloodborne, including blood rituals and moon imagery.
In The Duskbloods, players assume the roles of the “Bloodsworn,” warriors enhanced by a special blood that grants them extraordinary abilities. The gameplay combines player-versus-player and player-versus-environment elements, where players compete against each other while also battling formidable monsters.
A trailer released during the Nintendo Switch 2 Direct presentation showcases the game’s world, characters, and gameplay mechanics, highlighting its blend of gothic and steampunk aesthetics.
