Early Life and Education
Timberlake began his high school career at Rock Creek Christian Academy in Rosaryville, Maryland, before transferring to DeMatha Catholic High School in Hyattsville, Maryland. In his senior year, he averaged 16.5 points and 10 rebounds per game, earning first-team All-Washington Catholic Athletic Conference (WCAC) honors.
College Career
Timberlake’s college journey included stints at Miami (Florida), Memphis, and Bryant University. At Miami, he played seven games as a freshman, averaging 9.3 points, 5.0 rebounds, and 2.5 assists per game. He transferred to Memphis for his sophomore year, where he averaged 4.7 points and 3.4 rebounds per game.
In 2022, he joined Bryant University, significantly elevating his performance. In the 2024-2025 season, he averaged 15.2 points, 8.6 rebounds, and 4.6 assists per game, earning the America East Player of the Year award.
