Eddie Goldman (born January 6, 1994) is an American professional football nose tackle currently playing for the Washington Commanders in the National Football League (NFL). A native of Washington, D.C., Goldman attended Friendship Collegiate Academy, where he was recognized as an All-American defensive lineman.

He played college football at Florida State University from 2012 to 2014, earning First-team All-ACC honors in his junior year. Following his junior season, he declared for the 2015 NFL Draft.

The Chicago Bears selected Goldman in the second round (39th overall) of the 2015 NFL Draft. In his rookie year, he played 15 games, recording 39 tackles and six tackles for loss, ranking fourth among rookies with 4.5 sacks. He was named to Mel Kiper Jr.’s All-Rookie Team and the Pro Football Writers of America’s All-Rookie Team.

Goldman signed a four-year, $42 million contract extension with the Bears in September 2018. However, he opted out of the 2020 season due to the COVID-19 pandemic and was released by Chicago in March 2022.

Goldman signed with the Atlanta Falcons in July 2022 but briefly retired later that month. He returned to the Falcons in March 2023 and played in all 17 games during the 2024 season, recording 16 tackles and one sack.

On March 12, 2025, the Washington Commanders announced they had agreed to a one-year deal with Goldman, aiming to strengthen their defensive line for the upcoming season.
