Elliot Cadeau is an American-Swedish basketball player who plays as a point guard for the University of North Carolina Tar Heels. Born on September 4, 2004, in Brooklyn, New York, he moved to West Orange, New Jersey, during his youth. Cadeau began his high school career at Bergen Catholic High School in New Jersey, where he averaged 11.3 points, 4.6 rebounds, and 4.2 assists per game as a freshman. He transferred to Link Academy in Missouri for his junior year, further elevating his game.

Recognized as a five-star recruit, Cadeau committed to North Carolina in December 2022 and reclassified to join the team in the 2023–24 season. In his sophomore year (2024–25), he averaged 9.4 points, 2.9 rebounds, and 6.2 assists per game, shooting 44.5% from the field.

Internationally, Cadeau represents Sweden, his mother’s homeland. He has played for Sweden’s national team, winning gold medals with the U16 team at the 2020 Baltic Sea Basketball Cup and with the U18 team at the Nordic Championship.

Off the court, Cadeau has made significant strides in the NIL (Name, Image, and Likeness) space. In January 2022, he became the first high school basketball player to sign with Roc Nation Sports. He also secured endorsement deals with Swedish vitamin drink company Vitamin Well and other brands, including Leaf Trading Cards, Wilson Sporting Goods, and Flowlife. Additionally, he launched his own clothing line, Elliot Cadeau Wear. ​
